THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The historic building housing the Picnic Cafe has been associated with reports of unexplained paranormal activity dating back to its earlier occupants. Employees and visitors have described unusual sounds and other disturbances suggesting that a former resident or patron may still linger within the property.

The café, built in 1897 by Colonel W.P. Price, is rumored to be haunted by the Colonel himself. An apparition of a lone figure has been seen, although a psychic has determined that the ghost is a female who stands and waits for something unknown.
