Reported Haunting
The historic Pleasley Vale Mills are associated with numerous reports of paranormal activity from their long industrial past. Visitors and workers have described apparitions, unexplained footsteps, voices, and other disturbances believed to be connected to former mill employees.
Once used to make silk, the mills have since been replaced with an office. In the dye room, people reported the ghost of an abusive supervisor who is said to have murdered a woman who would often appear in Mill 1’s top floor. Mood swings, nausea, and disorientation are reported here.
