Reported Haunting
The centuries-old Porch House has accumulated numerous ghost stories during its long history, with guests reporting unexplained footsteps, apparitions, and other unusual activity. Several different spirits are said to inhabit the historic building, making it one of the area's better-known haunted inns.
This historic house dates back to the fifteenth century. During the late twentieth century, a lot of archaeological work was carried out on the building, and many workers reported sighting a shadowy apparition sitting in a rocking chair in the upstairs bedroom.
