Presidio La Bahía played a pivotal role in the Texas Revolution and preserves one of the state's oldest Spanish forts. Visitors have reported ghostly soldiers, unexplained voices, phantom footsteps, and apparitions within the stone walls. Its military history has made it one of Texas's best-known haunted historic sites.
