Reported Haunting
The former hospital complex has been associated with reports of paranormal activity attributed to patients who died during its years as a medical facility. Visitors and employees have described unexplained footsteps, voices, apparitions, and other disturbances in hallways and rooms.
Princeton Hospital was turned into Lakeside Hospital in 2000. The psychiatric hospital is rumored to be haunted by spirits who move empty wheelchairs or apparate as ghostly nuns and doctors. A phantom patient with hollow eyes is said to stare sadly or angrily at staff members. The second and third floors are said to be particularly active. Unexplained noises, rapping, and voices have been reported, and lights have been known to come on and off by themselves on empty floors.
