Reported Haunting
The historic Pritchard House is said to retain the spirits of members of the family who once called it home. Visitors and staff have reported apparitions, unexplained footsteps, voices, and other unusual activity believed to be connected to the Pritchard family.
Some members of the Pritchard family never left their 1891 home, some say. One of the haunts here is said to be Lola Pauline Smith Pritchard, or Miss Lovie, who, when she was alive, didn’t care for people to visit her home. Some of the strange things reported to happen here have been disembodied voices, lights that turn on by themselves, and a grandfather clock that pings even though it is not running.
