THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The former old Post Office site at Pritchard Park in Asheville, North Carolina, is legendary for the tragic spirit of a 1920s elevator operator who died in a devastating building fire. Passersby also document hearing faint, disembodied cries for help and smelling the sudden, distinct aroma of phantom smoke rising from the ground.
