Proctor Valley Road is associated with several local legends, most famously the Proctor Valley Monster, a mysterious humanoid or Bigfoot-like creature reportedly encountered along the isolated roadway. Other stories describe a ghostly hitchhiker and unexplained figures appearing at night before suddenly vanishing.
If you follow this road, it becomes more and more desolate. There are four stories about the cases of paranormal activity you’ll possibly encounter. The first two involve women, one being a woman in blue who is seen crying for help, and the other is said to be a banshee capable of shutting the power off of vehicles. The other two involves a ball of fire that moves around by itself and a pair of headlights that will chase you as you drive down the road. Take caution before you come down here!
