Reported Haunting
The Citrus Center has been associated with reports of unexplained activity within the downtown Orlando high-rise. Employees and visitors have described strange sounds and other unusual occurrences, although the identity and origin of the alleged spirit remain uncertain.
The Citrus Club is an elite business/networking organization located at 255 S. Orange Ave. A Republic Bank used to be attached to it (it appears now to be a Suntrust branch). Clubhouse members have seen shadow figures roaming the building and peculiar noises are heard when no one else was around. One of the women’s bathrooms is apparently haunted, too – stare into the mirror to long and a face will appear (other than yours) staring right back at you.
