Formerly Stokes Adobe and now Restaurant 1833, the adobe structure built by the Mexicans in the 1830s is said to be haunted.
Formerly Stokes Adobe and now Restaurant 1833, the adobe structure built by the Mexicans in the 1830s is said to be haunted. Said to happen in the early morning hours, footsteps walk through the upstairs when no one is there, and a child’s cries ring out from the same area. Also, employees say that the one who locks up at night will turn off the lights before leaving, but when the person gets to the parking lot, all the lights will come on by themselves.
