THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Rhode Center for the Arts occupies a historic theater where performers and staff have reported paranormal activity. Witnesses have described apparitions, phantom footsteps, mysterious voices, and unexplained movement backstage. The building has become one of Kenosha's notable haunted locations.
Rhode Center for the Arts began in 1927, and in its past has been known as the Lake Theater and the Gateway Theater. The home of the community theater group Lakeside Players is haunted, say witnesses who have heard voices and other noises and seen the ghost of a man.
