THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Employees at the Sacramento City Library have reported an unseen presence that appears to move through the building when areas are otherwise empty. Accounts include unexplained footsteps, strange noises, and other disturbances attributed to an unidentified spirit.
The Sacramento City Library is haunted by an unseen presence, as its employees will tell you. In the library’s Sacramento Room, witnesses have described the sound of Mylar rustling or the sound of shelving or pulling out books when no one is there. Books on the library shelves seem to disappear and reappear on their own, and glass doors have closed by themselves.
