Mission San Xavier del Bac, known as the White Dove of the Desert, has stood near Tucson since the late eighteenth century. Visitors have reported unexplained voices, mysterious footsteps, apparitions, and unusual activity throughout the historic mission. Its sacred history has inspired generations of local legends.
