Reported Haunting
The historic 1924 Grove House building that long housed Scandals Nightclub in Asheville, North Carolina, is allegedly haunted by the spectral apparition of a Native American woman. Guests and staff members have frequently reported that this entity causes electronic devices and club equipment to unexplainably malfunction or turn on and off by themselves. Despite these eerie disturbances, the folklore never negatively impacted the venue's massive popularity as a legendary downtown LGBTQ community hub before its closure.
Scandals Nightclub, which began in 1982, is a dance club for the LGBT community. It is haunted by an apparition of a Native American woman who is also blamed for unexplained lighting issues.
