Reported Haunting
The historic building housing Scarlett O'Hara's is said to be haunted by a spirit known as George, whose presence is particularly associated with the upstairs Ghost Bar. Employees and patrons have reported unexplained footsteps, moving objects, and other disturbances attributed to the resident ghost.
This restaurant’s upstairs bar is called the Ghost Bar, named for the ghost who haunts the place. The original builder is said to have died in an upstairs bathtub, in just the spot where the Ghost Bar is now.
