Reported Haunting
The Sherwood Inn is associated with reports of paranormal activity experienced by guests and staff. Witnesses have described apparitions, phantom footsteps, mysterious voices, and unexplained movement throughout the historic inn. It has earned a reputation as one of Greene's haunted landmarks.
So when you go on the “internets” to look up the Sherwood Inn the ubiquitous description states that “A female committed suicide here”. A female what? Howler monkey? Pony? In any case a female of some sort is alleged to have died and now roams the place.
