THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Silver Dollar Saloon is associated with reports of paranormal activity dating back to California's Gold Rush era. Visitors have reported apparitions, phantom footsteps, mysterious voices, and unexplained cold spots inside the historic saloon. It remains one of Marysville's haunted landmarks.
Juan Corona, who killed 25 migrant workers near this area, once was associated this building and there’s a belief his victims might, also. The building was also once a brothel and some of the former ladies who worked here have been spotted (usually in 19th century attire).
