THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The defunct Silver Jack Inn & LectroLux Café in the remote desert community of Baker, Nevada, holds a prominent reputation in Great Basin folklore for active paranormal encounters. Located along the desolate stretches of U.S. Highway 50—famously known as the "Loneliest Road in America"—the property is whispered about in ghost-hunting circles for its creaking, rustic layout and shadowed hallways.

This quaint inn and café is believed to be haunted by two apparitions. Guests have reported sightings of an American Indian woman walking through the hallways as if she is looking for someone. The other report is of a tall man , who has been seen in guests rooms and wandering around the premises. He vanishes when approached.
