THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Hotel Portsmouth, a historic 1881 Queen Anne Victorian mansion, is a famously haunted location in New Hampshire known for intense paranormal activity. Guests and staff frequently report incidents in Suite 204, where doors lock on their own and invisible entities are felt climbing into bed. Other reported phenomena include flying ice cubes and self-rocking chairs in common areas.
This historic inn is under new ownership, but the ghosts here have blatantly refused to move out. Paranormal activity reported here includes cold spots, doors opening and closing of their own accord and a rocking chair that rocks by itself, as well as a playful male entity.
