THE STORY

Reported Haunting

Skyline Drive is associated with local reports of a mysterious female apparition appearing along the roadway at night. Motorists have described encountering the ghostly woman near the road before she suddenly disappears, contributing to the area's reputation as a haunted stretch of Fullerton.

On Skyline Dr., between where it forks from Raymond Ave. to N Acacia Ave., numerous fatal accidents have occurred here. In 1991, a girl named Megan was killed after the car she was in lost control and crashed into a house. Another story tells of a man who crashed into a tree with such force that his head literally fell off and rolled down the road a bit of a distance. One other instance involves a man from the 1980’s who lost control somewhere around Skyline and Sorrento Pl. who leaves behind a scent of his strong cologne. One of the gated homes has a man standing in the driveway watching people walk and drive by (usually appearing in photos in the same place).
