The property where the SpringHill Suites now stands was formerly associated with the Paris Restaurant, which developed a reputation for paranormal activity. Reports of unexplained sounds and ghostly encounters were attributed to the earlier building, leading to stories that the activity may remain connected to the site.
This area used to be the site of the Paris Restaurant, since replaced by a hotel. Two people have died in this spot; the first being a woman who had a heart attack, the second being a man who choked to death. A chandelier was known to swing around by itself in what was once the Library Room (where the woman died of the heart attack), and the basement was overwhelmed by activity. Psychics reported many things here: multiple murder victims from nearby areas, Native Americans, a farmer and a child killed by farm equipment, and many others strange energies. Now that the building has replaced, there is no word if the activity is still there.
