THE STORY
Reported Haunting
St. Peter's Church Cemetery is associated with apparitions said to have wandered its grounds for more than a century. Legends include a phantom horse-drawn carriage racing through the cemetery and restless Native American chiefs buried there after the 1793 yellow fever epidemic.
The ghost who haunts here may own an alarm clock. Reports say that the apparition is seen at 9 p.m. standing over 5 unmarked graves, each of a Native American chief.
