THE STORY
Reported Haunting
St. Simons Lighthouse has watched over Georgia's coast since 1872 and is famous for the ghost of Frederick Osborne, who died in a duel nearby. Visitors have reported apparitions, mysterious footsteps, unexplained voices, and unusual activity throughout the lighthouse and keeper's quarters. It remains one of Georgia's best-known haunted lighthouses.
