THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The Baltic Room has been linked to the apparitions of a well-dressed couple believed to date from the 1930s. Witnesses have described a woman watching from the balcony and a man in a fedora wandering the room as though searching for someone.

Local legend tells of the ghosts of a young 1930s couple who haunt this drinking and dancing spot. The woman is known to look down from the balcony, watching the piano player, and the fedora-ed man walks around as if looking for somebody. One witness claimed that a charcoal drawing of a face suddenly appeared without explanation in the restroom.
