Beneath Southampton lies a network of vaults and passages associated with the former All Saints Church and sometimes described as a hidden "City of the Dead." Stories surrounding the underground chambers include ghostly figures, unexplained sounds, and an eerie atmosphere attributed to those once buried beneath the city.
Below where the All Saints Church in Southampton used to stand, is a ‘City of the Dead’. Hundreds of people were laid to rest here, but those who walk through here report feeling uneasy or as if they are being watched. Some people say that they actually walk on the main streets at night.
