Reported Haunting
The Charles Applegate Home is said to be haunted by Charles Applegate, his wife, and several of their children. Apparitions reportedly appear on the upper floor, while a man in loose clothing and a mysterious woman in white have been seen in the parlor.
The house was built between 1852 and 1856 by Charles Applegate. The ghost of him, his wife and several of their fifteen children haunt the upper level of the house, while the apparitions of a man in baggy pants and a lady in white haunt the parlour room on the ground floor.
