Reported Haunting
The Comedy Store has a notorious paranormal reputation, with performers and employees reporting apparitions, unexplained voices, and other strange activity throughout the building. Among its alleged spirits is a mischievous prankster said to play tricks on staff, while other ghosts are sometimes linked to the property's earlier days as Ciro's nightclub.
Witnesses have reported that, appropriately enough, a prankster ghost haunts this building. Employees have stacked roomfuls of chairs away only to find that, seconds later, they were all set up again. A dark entity also is said to reside in the basement. Comedians Blake Clark and Joey Gaynor have reportedly witnessed the haunting.
