Visitors to the Devil's Punchbowl have reported unexplained chills, noises, glowing orbs, and encounters with small supernatural figures described in local folklore as gnomes or trolls. Legends also claim that those who mock the entities may experience strange trouble when attempting to leave.
Visitors have heard strange noises and experienced unexplained temperature drops here. Balls of light are sometimes seen and some legends even talk about people encountering gnomes; guests who joke about these entities say their cars suddenly won’t start upon returning back.
