Reported Haunting
The Grey Horse Inn is associated with reports of ghostly apparitions and unexplained activity experienced by guests. Witnesses have described mysterious footsteps, shadow figures, strange noises, and doors opening on their own.
The Grey Horse Inn is no longer in operation; the owners of the historic inn retired and sold the property to private owners in 2011. Reports say that on the property a ghostly scene replays of a Confederate soldier being killed.
