Reported Haunting
Leicester Guildhall is associated with several ghost stories, including the apparition of a White Lady said to haunt the historic library. Witnesses have also reported furniture moving without explanation, mysterious footsteps, and other unusual activity throughout the centuries-old building.
The library is known for the White Lady (who is also said to move furniture around). In the courtyard, a ghostly cat and dog are seen, a cavalier is reported, and the spirit of a policeman has made his presence known. Burglar alarms are also known to go off for no reason.
