Reported Haunting
The Laugh Factory has been associated with the ghost of legendary comedian Groucho Marx, whose apparition has reportedly been seen around the club. Employees and performers have also described unexplained sounds and other unusual activity within the building.
The ghost of Groucho Marx frequents here. The owner has reported the smell of cigar smoke or a trail of cigar ashes manifesting despite no one being around. While the building was being replastered, Marx’s face appeared in the plaster despite no one having a key to get inside. Marx’s spirit also is said to move items around and play with the lights.
