The Lightner Farmhouse stands near the Gettysburg battlefield and has long been associated with Civil War ghost stories. Visitors have reported apparitions of soldiers, phantom voices, strange lights, and unexplained activity believed to be linked to the fighting that surrounded the property.
This farmhouse, built during the Civil War, was once even used as a war hospital. Around its grounds, ghosts have been spotted reliving the war.
