THE STORY
The Old Place restaurant occupies one of Gautier's oldest surviving buildings and has long been associated with local ghost stories. Employees and guests have reported apparitions, unexplained footsteps, and mysterious noises after closing.
It is rumored that the former plantation is haunted by the former slaves that lived there.
