Room 28 at the Schooner Hotel is particularly associated with paranormal activity, including reports of unexplained screams, whispers, and conversations heard when no visible speaker is present. Guests have also described apparitions and other disturbances throughout the centuries-old inn.
Unexplained noises are heard in room 28; this includes screams, whispers, and conversations. In room 17, a ghostly child is said to ride a tricycle. It is believed that there are at least 60 ghosts here.
