Reported Haunting
The State House is a 1948 residence in Fort Wayne that has become a dedicated paranormal research and investigation location. Owners, visitors, and paranormal investigators have reported shadow figures, full-bodied apparitions, disembodied voices, unexplained sounds, doors opening without apparent cause, and other poltergeist-like disturbances. One of the property's most frequently described entities is an unusually tall shadow figure, reportedly around seven feet in height, that has been seen moving through the halls. Unlike many historic haunted locations, The State House's paranormal reputation is relatively recent and is based primarily on experiences documented by investigators and visitors to the property.
