Reported Haunting
Ghost stories have surrounded the Thomson Tabby House ruins on Fort George Island since at least the 19th century. Local legends describe apparitions and unexplained activity around the old plantation-era ruins, with mysterious figures reportedly appearing and disappearing near the historic site.
Locals have told ghost stories about this building since at least the 1870s. Some have seen a “lady in white” figure, others have seen demonic animal-like spirits haunting the ruins.
