The former Thuan Kieu Plaza is surrounded by stories of apparitions, unexplained calls, deaths and other paranormal activity, giving the distinctive three-tower complex a long-standing haunted reputation.
Thuan Kieu Plaza became one of Ho Chi Minh City's most persistent urban ghost legends after the large residential and commercial complex struggled with low occupancy. Stories associated with the towers include apparitions, unexplained telephone calls, strange sounds and the ghost of a murdered woman. Additional legends claim workers died during construction. The complex was later renovated and rebranded as The Garden Mall, but its earlier reputation remains an established part of Saigon paranormal folklore.
