THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The Tilly Willy Bridge in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is famously haunted by a tragic 1970s car accident. Witnesses frequently report seeing phantom approaching headlights that suddenly vanish, a ghostly woman in a white dress twirling in a nearby field or crying out in anguish, and a bizarre green goblin-like creature pacing near the water. Visitors who park near the old bridge site at night often experience drastic temperature drops, hear disembodied knocking, and find mysterious handprints appearing on their fogged-up car windows.

The bridge was demolished in 2010 or 2011; the map shows the location of theh former bridge. It is said that a woman in the 1970s drove off the bridge, killing herself and her children. Her phantom car was seen driving across the bridge, and her apparition has been spotted in a white dress, twirling in a nearby field. Other reports say a green goblin creature also appears nearby.
