Reported Haunting
The abandoned Tuolumne General Hospital is said to be haunted by spirits connected to its long history of treating residents of the Gold Rush region. Visitors and investigators have reported apparitions, unexplained footsteps, voices, and other unusual activity within the former hospital buildings.
Now abandoned, miners from the Gold Rush are reportedly here. They are said throw things around, talk, and sometimes appear to visitors.
