The historic house formerly occupied by Treasure Coast Antique Mall is said to contain several spirits, including a man allegedly shot on the staircase during the building's colorful past. Cold spots and unseen presences have also been reported.
The historic 1920s house at 4343 North U.S. Highway 1 has served at various times as a residence, bar, inn, gambling establishment and antique business. One legend tells of a man connected with the property's alleged bordello period who was shot by his wife on the staircase. He is said to remain as one of the building's spirits. Visitors have also reported cold spots and the feeling that an unseen presence was nearby, particularly around the stairs and second floor.
