Tynedale Farm is associated with ghost stories linked to the area's connection to the Pendle witch trials, as the property was reportedly owned by a descendant of Alice Nutter, who was executed in 1612. Visitors have reported apparitions and unexplained activity around the historic farmhouse.
The house here was owned by a descendant of Alice Nutter, executed in the 1612 witch trials. Phantom monks are reported here as well as that of a servant girl who travels between here and Lower Wellhead farm.
