THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The former College Inn was associated with reports of paranormal activity before the building was demolished in 2013. Residents reportedly experienced unexplained footsteps, apparitions, and other strange occurrences that contributed to the property's haunted reputation.

Sadly, this building was recently (2013) demolished due to asbestos issues. At the former inn, the south side of the third floor used to be a hot spot for supernatural activity. Witnesses have seen smoky forms, bloodlike stains that appear on the walls, and elevator doors that open and close on their own. There have also been strange sounds from the bathrooms and unknown voices. Another odd happening was that in 1999, a globe-style lamp that was installed in every guest room fell to the ground on the same night. The staff did not know of any deaths that had occurred in the 1970 building, so perhaps the source of the hauntings stemmed from before the building’s time and remains now that it is gone.
