THE STORY

Reported Haunting

Valentown Museum preserves one of western New York's best-preserved nineteenth-century villages and has become a favorite destination for paranormal investigators. Visitors have reported apparitions, disembodied voices, cold spots, and unexplained movement inside several of the historic buildings.

This haunted museum was originally a home built by Levi Valentine in 1879. It is believed to be inhabited by spirits who move tools in the basement, play an old-fashioned music box, and show up as apparitions or shadows. EVP have been captured here as well.

Explore responsibly. A location appearing in Ghost Atlas does not grant permission to enter private, restricted, abandoned, or closed property. Paranormal accounts are presented as reported experiences, folklore, or legend unless otherwise documented.
