Reported Haunting
Phantom monks, unexplained chanting and mysterious faces and figures are reportedly seen and heard among the ruins of this medieval abbey.
The ruins of Valle Crucis Abbey date to the thirteenth century and are associated with numerous paranormal reports. Faces and figures have reportedly appeared in photographs or been seen moving through the ruins, while unexplained chanting is sometimes heard. The spirits of former monks are believed to remain here, and some traditions also associate the site with Owain Glyndwr.
