Reported Haunting
The Viaduct Tavern is associated with an aggressive poltergeist that reportedly causes disturbances in the cellar. Witnesses have described objects being knocked around, unexplained touching, and doors slamming shut, including an incident in which an unseen force appeared to hold a door closed.
An irate poltergeist is known its tantrums. In the cellar, it likes to knock things about and touch people. One owner had the doors slam behind him and an invisible force held the door shut from the other side.
