Built in 1895 and once owned by the warden of the local goldfields, Warden Finnerty's House developed a reputation for paranormal activity during renovations. Workers reported being bitten and scratched by an unseen force. After the remains of a cat were discovered beneath the house and removed, the attacks reportedly stopped. Since then, witnesses have claimed to see the apparition of a cat wandering the property before suddenly disappearing.
