Reported Haunting
Investigators at the historic Warfield reported an oppressive presence and an unexplained humanlike face appearing on thermal imaging inside the theater.
The Warfield opened on Market Street in 1922 and has hosted generations of stage performers and musicians. During an investigation by The Haunted Bay, producer Ying Liu and a cameraman reported feeling intense pressure emanating from one area of the building. An investigator using a thermal camera then reportedly captured what appeared to be a close human face on the display. Liu described the incident as one of the team's most remarkable unexplained experiences. The theater's former basement speakeasy has also figured in later paranormal investigations.
