The White House Apartments building is a three-story Italianate Victorian building assumed to once have been a home built around the turn of the century. It was a hospital before it was remodeled into apartments, and is said to be haunted possibly by former patients’ ghosts. Witnesses say the apparition of a woman in a white gown shows up in the lobby or floating in the hallways. Other apparitions have been spotted out of the corners of witnesses’ eyes.
