Reported Haunting
Built in 1830, Woodburn is one of Pendleton's best-known historic homes and is reputedly haunted by the spirit of a young girl. Former residents reported seeing the child inside the home, while visitors have claimed to capture her image in photographs. Police officers investigating an alarm at the house also reportedly saw a young girl looking out from the nursery window, only to find the building empty when they searched inside.
