The historic Yankee Pedlar Inn has a longstanding reputation for paranormal activity, with guests and employees reporting apparitions and unexplained occurrences. Stories include ghostly figures, mysterious footsteps, and doors or other objects seemingly moving without anyone nearby.
The historic 1891 hotel is known for ghostly activity. Alice Conley, one of the original owners, is believed to haunt Room 353, the room in which she died. Ti West’s 2011 horror film “The Innkeepers” is based on the story of this inn.
